GLAG Post Reflection

 I am from a very rural area in Oregon, the town where everybody knows everything. Introductions seem obsolete, because often times, your neighbor knows something about you before you know something about yourself.      Through the GOALS program, I had the opportunity to learn how to give a proper introduction through the Global Learning in Agriculture (GLAG) workshop.  Dr. Alexa Lamm posed a series of questions for us to reflect on, and build a thoughtful ,  well planned introduction. Introduction to Jacob Falk

     Hello, my name is Jacob Falk. I am a current Junior at the University of Idaho perusing a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Education. I am originally from a small town in eastern Oregon called  Enterprise. in my youth, I was very active in the 4-H and FFA programs. In 4-H, I was involved in national leadership, civic engagement programs, dog showing, and archery. In FFA I was a district and chapter officer, chairmen of the parliamentary procedure team, I participated in ag sales, soils, mechanics, weed and crop ID, and livestock breeding.       At the beginning of the fall semester, I embarked on a journey that would develop me as an educator, and grow my awryness as a global citizen, I enrolled in the GOALs program.
